The correct installation of pressure transmitters is crucial for their measurement accuracy and service life. The following precautions should be taken during installation:

Installation location selection
Try to choose a place that is easy to operate and maintain, reserve enough space for subsequent inspection, calibration, and maintenance work.
Stay away from vibration sources and areas with strong electromagnetic interference. Vibration and electromagnetic interference may affect the normal operation of the pressure transmitter, resulting in inaccurate measurements.
Avoid installing in places with large temperature changes, as drastic temperature fluctuations may affect the measurement results. If unavoidable, appropriate temperature compensation measures should be taken.
For measuring liquid pressure, installation at the highest point of the pipeline should be avoided to prevent gas accumulation; When measuring gas pressure, it should be avoided to install it at the lowest point of the pipeline to prevent liquid condensation.

Installation method
Ensure a tight connection between the pressure transmitter and the pipeline or equipment to prevent leakage. Choose appropriate sealing materials, such as sealing gaskets, based on different connection methods.
For threaded connections, attention should be paid to the specifications and tightening torque of the threads to avoid being too tight or too loose. Tightness may damage the threads and transmitter, while looseness may cause leakage.
If flange connection is used, the flange surface should be ensured to be flat and clean. Suitable bolts and gaskets should be used during installation, and the bolts should be tightened according to the specified torque.
Installation of pressure pipe
The length of the pressure pipe should be as short as possible to reduce losses and hysteresis during pressure transmission. An excessively long pressure pipe may cause measurement delays and affect the real-time performance of the measurement.
The inner diameter of the pressure pipe should be appropriate, generally not less than 6mm, to ensure sufficient flow and pressure transmission.
The pressure pipe should maintain a certain slope, and for measuring liquid pressure, the slope should face the process pipeline; For measuring gas pressure, the slope should be away from the process pipeline to facilitate the discharge of liquids or gases.
An exhaust valve should be installed at the highest point of the pressure pipe, and a drain valve should be installed at the lowest point to facilitate the removal of gas and liquid from the pressure pipe.
Electrical connection
Strictly follow the instructions of the pressure transmitter for electrical connections to ensure correct wiring. Pay attention to the specifications and polarity of the power supply voltage to avoid connecting it incorrectly and causing damage to the transmitter.
Use shielded cables for signal transmission, and the shielding layer should be reliably grounded to reduce the impact of electromagnetic interference on the signal.
For occasions with explosion-proof requirements, electrical installation should be carried out in accordance with explosion-proof specifications to ensure the explosion-proof performance of electrical equipment.
Protective measures
When installing pressure transmitters outdoors or in harsh environments, appropriate protective measures should be taken, such as installing protective boxes, sunshades, etc., to prevent rainwater, dust, and other debris from entering the inside of the transmitter.
If the ambient temperature is too high or too low, insulation or cooling measures should be taken to ensure that the transmitter operates within its specified operating temperature range.
Calibration and Debugging
After installation, calibration and debugging should be carried out to ensure accurate measurement of the pressure transmitter. The transmitter can be calibrated using a standard pressure source and the output signal can be checked for normality.
When installing pressure transmitters, various factors should be fully considered, and relevant specifications and instructions should be strictly followed to ensure their reliable operation and accurate measurement.
